"A change of scenery," she said simply, flitting slightly this way and that. Their forest had become a bit stifling to her of late and she'd taken to wandering around the countryside, enjoying the different sights that were to be seen. Still, the times being what they were, one could never be too careful. It was fairly foolish of her to have strayed so far from home, and to talk to strangers to boot. Deciding it best to head home, she bid goodbye to the elf and the old man.

"Good day to you both," she said with a smile before flitting back off to the forest.

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

"Hello elf.My name is Tinker."

"Hello Tinker. My name is Aranel, though I prefer Sarah." She said kindly, as the fearie glowed in front of her. She then watched as another small fearie came down. Sarah, personally, had always loved fearies and their enchanting ways.

"Latha math dhuibh,"

"Good day to you as well." She said, greeting the second fearie. "She isn't intruding at all." She finished, kindly toward the second fearie. As the second fearie bid her good day yet again before flitting off, she whispered loud enough for the fearie to here, "You don't have to leave, if you don't want to."

*He chuckled a little as they fearies came and went.*

"Ahh the Fearie folk are so fickle, here one moment and gone the next, quite like the wind. I do envy them tho, they are the only beeings I know that truely live in the moment. "

*He looked forward to the road, and watched the grass flowing in the wind*

"I envy them not. You can't enjoy life if you spend it envying others." She said, as she gently tapped Kara's side and she began trotting again. The blades of dew-filled grass rustled, as the wind swept through them, and eventually reached the pair walking down the road, gently brushing past them.

*He closed his eyes as the breeze passed them, inhaleing deeply savoring it. Not opening his eyes he let the road lead him*

"Very true, you remind me very much of an old friend of mine. He too had a wanderlust, and a great concern for others. The only thing about old age that I dislike is not beeing able to see some of your friends anymore. I do miss the talks we used to have."

*He continued his pace, dreaming of a time once long ago.*

"Tell me my Elven princess, care for something to eat?"

"I do then?" She asked, curious to know more about this friend she reminded him of. "What was he like?" She asked, wanting to know more about him than just his concern for others and his wanderlust. The white mare continued trotting slowly alongside the man.

"Tell me my Elven princess, care for something to eat?"

"However did you know?" She asked with a smile, knowing that she hadn't even told him her own name. "Well, I accept that offer." She said, dismounting the white mare, as she held her by the reins and waited for the kind wanderer to pick a place for them to sit down and eat.

*He headed to a small clearing on the side of the road, there was a few rocks that one could easily sit opon and even a small pit with some left over wood in it*

"Here we are"

*Taking his small pack off his shoulder he pulled out some bread and some fresh fruits. He took have the bread and handed it to her, pulling out an apple he also offered it to the elf.*

"Yes you do... He was a kind and careing person who rode a white mare. I met him on this very road one day, he was traveling in the other direction and happend accross me while I ate here. Very politely he asked to join my table, I ofcourse offered him a seat. He had a great outlook on life, seeing everything as a gift, he told me that he was not used to eating with such grandure. We talked at length, he expressed how he loved to travel and wanted to see this land before it changed to much. He had a gift for knowing when things where going to happen, and he seemed to know of the troubles ahead. After many hour of talking we parted ways, I ran into him a few more times after that, each time he showed me the greatest of manners, such as yourself."

*He sat down one of of the stones, and looked at her*

"Traveling this road one tends to get hungry, I just guessed you might be as such."

Patting her mare's neck, she whispered a few words in elvish to her, before watching as she wandered into a field to graze. She then followed to man to the clearing off the road, and smiled as she accepted the bread and apple he handed her. "Thank you. I don't believe I've introduced myself. My name is Sarah, or Aranel if you prefer." She said, as she sat down and took a bite out of the apple.

"Yes, we've been together since I could ride a horse." She said happily, remembering good memories from her childhood days. Sarah took another bite out of the apple, and tucked her legs underneath her as she sat down.

"ahhh, it is good to have a traveling companion. I have had many diffrent ones over the years, tho none stay with me that long. That is the way of life tho, things come and go, as the waves. Far be it for us to fight it, one can not change the waves, we can only choose what direction to swim. "

*He took a bite of an apple and leaned back a little takeing in the breeze. It was a wonderful warp and fulfilling day and he was determined to enjoe it.*

"That's very wise." She said, between munches. "I've had to use other creatures along my journeys, but she is my favorite, and my darling." She said with a smile as she looked at the wise old man.

*He smiled at her gently*

"I have traveled with many, both creature and person. Some times traveling with an animal is more fulfilling, for they do not judge with their minds, they judge with there hearts. Far to many times I have been judged just by my appearce before they get to know me. Long ago I traveled with a large cat, I helped him back to health and he just followed me for a bit after that. It was wonderfull, he would hunt and share his meals, I dont think I ever ate better."

She couldn't help but laugh gently at this. "I find their company pleasing." Sarah answered. It was the truth. You could spill your secrets to a friendly animal and never have to worry about them being shared. You can rest on their backs, and let them take you where you need to go. They always seemed to help. "Do you travel alone now?" She asked, curiously.
