"No. I was bitten when i was 18" Rik said, looking at the floor. "That was 132 years ago now....Some people say that being a vampire can be quite good but i disagree" Rik continued "It's more like a curse. Watching the people you love and care about die while you lead an immortal life. It's tourture for me. I had a wife you know, when i was bitten. She died years ago, though i was not around to see it."

She looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry for your losses." She looked up. "I would say that I know how you feel, but that would be lying. I have never lost someone that close to me before. Other than my mother, of course. I didn't know her very well, she died when I was a baby."
