Draconis slowly made his way through the eerie part of the forest, feeling the tendrils of dark magic whisp around him, clouding his thoughts with his past history. His eyes let off a nocturnal green glow as he hissed softly, the werewolf side of him tugging at his inner concience.
Finally, he let himself go, the flesh ripping and snapping to reveal coarse black fur, and a wet, blood- matted muzzle ripped from his face, the long reddened fanglike teeth sprouting from his gums. He rose his head and let out a frightening howl as the rest of his body fully transformed.

Trelandi had to admit; the forest was rather creepy at times, but for some unknown reason, the raw beauty of nature drew her into its depths. She perched on a low hanging branch of one tree, crafting a wooden whistle with her knife and a thick cylinder of wood. The lack of light didn't hinder her work; she could simply sense the light of the full moon and it illuminated quite enough for her to continue scraping skins of wood from what soon would be a new flute.
She was at peace with nature, until she heard the distant, but still frightening howl. She quickly noted of the full moon - a werewolf was on the prowl. Carefully slipping the knife back into its sheath and the wood pipe into the pouch which contained a variety of small instruments, she crept along the branch on the balls of her feet and fingers of her hands, sharply scanning over the forest floor. Being a contortist had its perks, such as being able to move oddly on many different surfaces while remaining balanced and quiet.
The howl worried her. She had no experience with avoiding were beasts, as she had never been careless enough to encounter one. For a moment, she considered scaling the tree more to gain the advantage of height and better view of the forest, and to stifle all her curiosity of the twisted existance of the were beasts. She decided to climb up some ways, just for safety's sake, but remained focused on the ground, her curiosity managing to get the best of her.

He smelled another in the forest, near him as well. His mouth watered and the drool dripped down his dog chin and on the leaves below him. He let out a louder, yet hungry howl, and began bounding in the direction of the smell of fresh meat. The hunger gnawwed at him, ripped his insides apart, and all he could think was to tear into the prey he was now hunting.
"Need...need...need." the gruff growling words ripped from his throat with a guttural grunt, as the lust for blood and flesh drove him more into his psychosis. "Need... wantneedneedkillneedbloodneed..." the words got more frantic as he tore through the forest, finally hurling himself through a mass of shrubbery, a Minstrel standing before him. The hair on his back stiffened and he let out a horrifying snarl, his eyes blazing as he turned violently to face his victim.
"KIIILLLLLLL!!!!!" The howl broke free from his chest in a horrid scream, as he pushed himself, staggering, toward Trelandi.

After following a lead about the murderer of her parents, Darina had entered an ominous part of the forest. She was told the wretch had been spotted wondering through here, so she figured why not try? Just as she had stopped for a short rest, her head tilted to the side as she thought she had heard the cry of a were-beast. She shrugged it off, but after hearing a frightening growl, she was sure.
She had never before seen a were-beast, but the stories she had been told gave her reason to never want to meet one. She took note of the full moon that hung care-free in the dark night sky. She knew that if she stayed there, she was sure to be found and probably wind up on the menu for this awesome monster. Lightly, and with great caution, she jumped and climbed up to the tall, gnarled branches. She tried to tread carefully, to not make a sound, but naturally a twig had to snap, and her boot had to be the cause of it.
She sensed that the beast was far from her, but it was still closer than she'd like. With grace, she jumped to another branch, laid flat on her stomach, and waited. She had to admit, that even though all the stories she had been told about these creatures had her concerned, as she should be, her young age gave her too much curiosity to want to see what it was.
She heard a monstrous growl and sensed it approaching. Tensing up with her thoughts racing, she noticed another spirit. It was close to her, but this could be what the beast was after. Not moving, barely breathing, she anxiously waited.
